Click-through rate (CTR)
Click-through rate (CTR) is the percentage of people who clicked a link out of those who saw it, in an email, a page, or a search result.
Click-through rate measures action. In email, it's the share of recipients who clicked a link. In search, it's the share of people who clicked your result after seeing it.
CTR is often a better signal than opens because a click is deliberate. Low CTR with healthy opens usually points at weak calls to action or links buried too deep.
