And honestly? I get it. I did the same thing.
But after enough cycles — enough farms that died, enough positions I sized wrong, enough "sure things" that weren't — I figured out the secret isn't a coin. It's a process. A way of operating that keeps you in the game long enough to actually compound.
That's what this course is. Not alpha. Not predictions. A process.
What This Course Actually Is
This is the free DADS DeFi Space course — the structured version of everything I teach.
DADS DeFi Space is an independent crypto and DeFi education brand. Clear explanations, real portfolio transparency, risk-defined strategies, and Base- and Solana-native experimentation — done in public, wins and losses out loud. The course is the on-ramp. Alongside it I publish market reads and real portfolio updates, so you're never just getting theory.
I'm a dad. A high school economics and history teacher. A DeFi investor and trader who documents real decisions in public. That's the lens here. I'm not selling you a dream. I'm walking you through a system.
The whole thing runs on one belief: Bitcoin is the foundation. DeFi is the amplifier. And one rule above all the rest: survive first, compound second.
Everything is optional. Everything is on-chain. Everything is subject to change.
Who It's For
If you're brand new and crypto still feels like a foreign language — start at the beginning. We build from the ground up.
If you've been around a while but you keep getting chopped up — chasing yield, picking the wrong pairs, watching impermanent loss eat your gains — there's a section with your name on it.
And if you already know the fundamentals and you just want to see where the real edge is right now? That's the back half.
You don't have to take it in order. But it's built in order for a reason.
How It's Built — Three Parts
I broke this into three parts that build on each other.
Part 1 — Crypto & Bitcoin Foundations. Why Bitcoin matters. The essential rules nobody tells you. How to get from fiat into crypto without getting wrecked. How to protect what you've got from the scams that are everywhere. This is the bedrock. Skip it and everything else is shaky.
Part 2 — DeFi & Yield Foundations. This is where most people lose money, so this is where we slow down. What DeFi really is. How to build a portfolio and actually research a position instead of aping in. Risk management. The real DeFi strategies — staking, lending, yield farming. Then liquidity pools, impermanent loss, the APR trap, and how to pick LP pairs that don't bleed you out.
Part 3 — Automated LP Management. This is the part I'm most excited about, because it's where the grind finally gets solved. Manual LPing is exhausting — rebalancing, re-centering, eating swap fees and tax drag every time the market moves. There's a better way: no-swap rebalancing. I learned the technique from a mentor, wrote the first article on it, and it became my strategy of choice. From there we get into MaxFi — the managed product that runs that strategy for you — plus how to read the market so your positions survive, and how to put the whole playbook together.
Quick, honest note: I use MaxFi myself, and I may earn a referral if you decide to use it too. I'll always tell you when I've got a stake in something I'm teaching — you should know where the person teaching you is standing. MaxFi is the method I use and believe in. It's not the brand, and the fundamentals in Parts 1 and 2 stand on their own no matter what tools you end up using.
How to Actually Use It
Read the lesson. Then go look at the thing on-chain yourself.
That's the difference between watching and learning. Don't trust — verify. Pull up the dashboard, look at the real numbers, click around with a test wallet and money you can afford to lose.
Each section here is an article. Some will have a video too, for the ones that are easier to show than to tell. Take notes. Go slow. There's no prize for rushing into a position you don't understand.
This isn't a course you finish and forget. It's a way of operating you carry into every decision after.
Final Thoughts
Most crypto content stops at the buy. It tells you what to get and goes quiet.
I don't work that way. This course is the process, the mechanics, and the honest follow-up — including the losses.
If you take one thing from all of this before we even start, take this: the market doesn't pay the smartest person in the room. It pays the one who's still standing.
